Tailkin started because of my dog, Cooper.

I love him, but he sheds constantly. Hair on the sofa, clothes, floor, car — basically anywhere it can end up, it does.

After spending far too much time cleaning up after him, I started looking for products that could actually make the messy side of owning a pet easier.

That's what Tailkin is about.

I use some of the products myself with Cooper, which gives me a much better idea of what's actually useful and what isn't. Other products in the range are there because they solve the same kinds of everyday problems for different pets, including cats.

I'm not interested in filling the shop with hundreds of random pet products just to make it look bigger. I'd rather have a smaller selection of things that help with real everyday problems — loose fur, wet coats, bath time, dirty floors, litter mess and the general cleanup that comes with having pets.

Some dogs will probably always shed everywhere, some cats will always make a mess around the litter tray, and pets in general aren't exactly known for keeping the house spotless.

Hopefully Tailkin can make dealing with all of that a bit easier.
